Ground Snake Index
There are many snakes that spend at least part of their time on the ground. Even snakes known for their tree climbing abilities are often found on the ground. Chrysopelea ornata and Ahaetulla prasina are just two tree snakes that are found on the ground a lot.

- Rat Snakes spend the most time on the ground, but they are also excellent climbers.
