Reptile Education Opportunities
We occasionally have some educational opportunities to help people learn about snakes and other reptiles native to Thailand or Malaysia, and we’re considering Laos as well. Click one of the info links below for more information about our Educational Topics.
Reptile Education Opportunities
- Snake Field Trips – If we have time we might be doing a field trip or two during any given month. We announce them at our Forum on Facebook, and sometimes here on the website with a new post. If you join our newsletter group you can also become aware of new snake field trips we’re doing as they come up. On these field trips we usually focus on snakes, but we find geckos, lizards, frogs, centipedes, scorpions, spiders, birds, bats, slow lorises, hog badgers, and all sorts of wildlife.
- Snake – Reptile Internships. These are held monthly at times. We have had applications from all over the world, and we’re considering some at the moment. If you are looking for a an ideal way to learn about the fascinating and diverse herpetofauna of Southeast Asia – this one month long internship might be for you. Click for info.
- Book – “Is That Snake In Your House Dangerous? Identify Deadly Thailand Snakes In Under 5 Minutes!” This book is a recent addition to our growing list. If you’re not looking for a field trip or a reptile internship, you might just get this book and read up on all of the 35 deadly snakes in Thailand. This book also has crucial instructions on how to treat venomous snakebite from different snake species.
- Book – “Photos Of Common Thailand Snakes!” This PDF formatted ebook has 83 pages of information about the most common snake species in Thailand. It is FREE and available as you join our group here.
